3 Piece and a Biscuit!

WWW
« on: November 18, 2009, 04:22:52 PM »

Guys,
I would love to start going to MVP on off weekends and running drills. Especially woods drills, and one-on-one player practices.

I highly recommend watching these vids from Tyger to get a general idea. I love his Ambush/Anti-Ambush series. Again, I know winter is coming, but id love to head to MVP some weekend soon, buy a bag of paint and practice. Paint would be used on the airball or Urban assault field for a single player to practice. Not for shooting at each other, strictly for practice.

Pistols would be great for this. Light and allows you to think tactically instead of the weight of your gun bringing you down. Reduced paint usage too.

are you watching the low res version? They're fine on my screen. And you have to think he did most of these videos in 2004/2005. Lower quality cameras back then.

Ive watched a ton of them at here at work. When I started playing they didnt make much sense to me, but now that Ive got a little bit of experience behind my back, Im learning quite a bit.

They would be good to an extent.  To teach movement and playing bunkers, yes.  The limited paint forces you to play and move better since you can't rely on a wall of paint to cover up a mistake.  If you are training for accuracy and shooting skills, you have to use the marker you play with.  Playing with a strange marker does you no good.

But pistols 1 on 1 in a speedball field = greatest movement and bunker drill possible.
