That is one sexy Tac 8! I want to get another so bad, but having one holstered on my leg slowed me down way to much....that and I have midget hands and I could barely hold the darn thing lol.

I'm using it as a primary. So I won't have that issue. I'll start off with 4 mags, hoping to get another leg mag holster to have an eventual total of 7. That is one sexy Tac 8! I want to get another so bad, but having one holstered on my leg slowed me down way to much....that and I have midget hands and I could barely hold the darn thing lol.
My hands are big. Or rather my fingers are excessively long. The Tac grip feels great in my hands. The 45 frame of other pistols like the Ariakon ACP feels much too small, and then the top-heaviness of other paintball pistols only makes it feel worse. I couldn't hit a damn thing with those pistols. Always aiming too high, over compensating for the natural tendency to point towards the ground. My first shot in a game with a Tac 8 was a dead center gog shot at about 50 feet. It just points well for me.

I always enjoyed shooting my Tac8 when I had it. For a pistol with a tiny barrel the thing is dead accurate. Enhander and I did a accuracy video a few months back when we had ours and the thing was ball on ball! It was dead of winter too and I went 14/16 at around 50-60 feet.

I watched the vids already. The accuracy test was surprising. You did really well with it even in the cold. I've played a few games with one I borrowed and I was really impressed. I like to run lightweight, so pistols always appealed to me. The issue though is most pistols just plain suck. Poor quality, poor efficiency, poor accuracy. And then reloads are a pain with changing paint every 10 rounds then CO2 every 20 (if you are lucky enough to get that many).
The T8 is built extremely well (from what I've seen). It's rugged, reliable, has a regulator so it's accurate and consistent, and it is very efficient. With some polishing of the internals, they can get up to 32 shots from a 12 gram. Not as good as Phantoms, but still better than any other pistol out there. Then reloads are so damn easy. Pop the mag out and a new one in. And even reloading the mags with paint is a cinch with cut down 10 round tubes. No plug to lose, just pull back the little pin. The only minor issue is changing CO2. But with sufficient mags, you should never have to on the field. With 4 mags on me, I can shoot 96 rounds (assuming the conservative 24 shots per 12 gram) or up to 128 with 32 rounds per 12 gram. I carry 250 rounds on me when I play with a semi, if I shoot nearly half as much as I do with a pistol, then I'm not playing pistol right.

Indeed, however there was a couple games I ran around with both JJ and mine...that was a lot of fun, but with 2 guns and four mags I was empty way to fast. It was good for a change of pace though.

Don't worry, I'll let you shoot it some at RE. As long as I can shoot the Emag. LOL. From an engineering standpoint, the Tac 8 is amazing. The Automag is an engineering masterpiece as well. Having watched some video on Youtube with Tom Kaye explaining the Automag's design, it is amazing. They wanted a system that would reliably recock every time even if the CO2 pressure drop. A blow forward, spring return is so simple, yet genius. And then controlling velocity by having a fixed volume and changing the pressure is great. And then Tiberius took the Mag idea, miniaturized, reorganized, and improved it for use in a 12 gram powered pistol. Then he added the revolutionary CO2 and paint in a single mag with the resealing 12 gram valve. It just is all amazing. To me, the engineer, at least.

I'm probably getting a NcStar MicroDot sight, like the one in the promo UMS pic. They are supposed to be very nice. And yes, this will be at RE. I will most likely being running it primary all day.

Very nice. It'll look good in some action pics! I saw Crimson the past couple games running with his Tac8.
