As it means, We have all seen some vids on youtube or elseware that show players moving throu water or even swimming with their gear and markers. I live in Florida near the beach and I'm surrounded by water, canals, and other areas like that. I'm going to try to explain all the things that you need to take into account if your even considering any game like in this area or others like it. Since I live in Florida, I'll be using refrences here to explain it all.
Safety: Safety is a major thing here then or in any area you play in. If your near streams or canals and your considering a SEAL style insertion (Swimming) Make sure your able to carry all your gear effectively and keep it water tight so it will float. With your gear floating, it can be used as an emergency floatation device. Make sure you can swim well and be mindful of what's in the water. If you see what maybe a gator, it most likley is. Gators are a common thing in florida and they will defend their nest rather violently, so if you see what may be a nest or what maybe a gator, ALERT EVERYONE to steer clear of it.
Boat ops are somewhat diffrent. Again safety is peramount. Make sure all Players have life jackets wile on the boat andbe sure if they are wearing it over their gear, be sure that they can ditch their gear if they can't swim with it on.
Gear: Making sure your gear can handle water is a must. If your thinking of swimming with it, you need to make it water tight. It serves as an emergency floater and a marker in case of energency. Make sure your paint is sealed tight in the pods and for extra protection, wrap in in a plastic bag and make sure your tanks are capped so water dosen't get in.
Other then what I just mentioned all the basic safety rules are the same so, have fun and be safe no matter what.
