I dunno, I dislike they're game format. All the "scenarios" Ive been to there were just big capture the flag games. The field is nice and all, but Ill stick with TRP. Plus its almost a 4 hour drive to get there.

Don't forget all the broken glass everywhere and the lack of Refs....
Great field but they need to do some cleaning up before they do more building. Just because someone hasn't got hurt bad yet doesn't mean they are not going to. A couple more refs and a nice scenario writer would do them wonders.

I 100% agree on that!  They have fixed 85% of the games to not be that anymore, still not Mission Masters (I'm only saying that because Karl reads the forum), but WAAAAAAY better then it was, or even any other scenarios I've gone to elsewhere.  You have to watch the forum before the game.  If it sounds like its going to be CTF, it is.  If there is ANY hype, its not!  The last one was pretty awesome, the only downside was the hurricane going through!

The glass and stuff of that nature is long gone.  I can't believe they let anyone on the field while it was there, but its gone.  They were doing some renovating.  There are still some concrete bits around which I want to see gone, but once again, 85% better.  The thing to remember, I belive Battlefront only opened a bit before MVP.  They are fairly new in the grand scheme of things.

On a side note, its by far cheaper for me to play there then anywhere else, even MVP.  It cost me $175 for a membership, that gets me in free anytime but scenario, $5 for sceanrio, gets paint for $55 a case and free air.  The distance to all 3 fields is the same + or - 20 miles for me.

Wow...I had no idea about them cleaning up the glass. We may have to give them another try sometime next year. Brian let  us know a game you all will be there and we'll get up there and run together!

I'll let you know what will be a good game (or at least one I think will be).  Probably the World at War game in April (I think April).  I'll probably go out for General of the Jap side for that one.  I played the XO and we destroyed all the other teams!

But first, I want to get together with the staff and other teams who play there all the time and get some of the debris like concrete bits cleaned up, would make it a lot safer.  Its not that I disagree about the safety, I just personally have been one of the people who say think for yourself don't expect someone to think for you.  Like people who pretty much pen their kids in to a small area instead of watching your kids.  That being said though, you still should not have to worry about running across an open field and breaking your ankle!

I would be down for giving Battlefront another try.  It is a long drive that is the only bad part, so an early season game that doe snot last as long woudl be good.
