So when I put the barrel and spring back in the T8.1, the bolt is not staying foward...so when I air it up, it makes a chirp, and then does not fire. Can anyone help me out here?

What do you mean the bolt isn't staying forward?  It's an open bolt.  It should stay back.

When it doesn't fire, is there like no weight on the trigger?  What is/was your velocity set at?  Try backing the adjustment nut flush with the reg body and screw it in 4 and 1/2 turns.  That sets it around 250 FPS.

Have you taken the marker apart yet?  If so, did you make sure to push the bolt about a quarter of an inch forward when reassembling?  If not, then it might be stuck behind the "release" in the trigger group.  This will not allow the gun to fire.

It was the velocity...and it needed a lil tap on the nose (barrel)!
