I was at the pre-game briefing and Cuda clarified that the patch has to be sewn on to a jersey, or the MM logo has to be screen printed on the shirt/jersey. Thats the only way to get the discount. They just dont want a team passing the patch down the line as they come thru the register to get the discount is all, then not sporting the patch on the field, like a good sponsored team should.  |

If it's incorporated in the jersey (i.e. silk screened on the back) I don't believe there's an issue as long as the jerseys are limited to team members (and sponsors like me, LOL). Some of the other teams have the MM logo in their jerseys so they don't have to sew the patch on.

Actually the MM patches are so 2000-and-late. They are outdated. All sponsored teams for 2010 have the MM logo imprinted on their jerseys. TRP will only apply the discount if you are sporting an imprinted jersey.
The patches generated some problems: There are a number of rogue patches out there from formerly sponsored teams and peeps who never sewed them on and passed 'em around in the register line. ALAS they are gone!
Go for the team jersey!
