BAN PIZZA!!!

I picked up this G36C airsoft body on a whim in a trade with JJ.  Figured I'd stuff an Automag in it for the upcoming Mission Masters Modern Warfare scenario later this summer.

I started by disassembling the gun (splits in half, held together with screws).  Overlaid my mag to get a rough idea of the size and placement of the mag body within the shell.

Next I took a dremel and got rid of everything inside that was in the way.  Also cut out a notch for the feed.  It's a left feed body and I'm a lefty, so it's all good. Smiley

However on the other side of the body, there was a recess on the outside for a kind of fake shell ejection port.  The automag body is such a tight fit that I had to dremel out that recess as it stuck into the inside.  I'll have to fill it in later with some plastic I guess.

Next I created a metal bracket to hold the mag body in place better in the body.  This attaches to the front frame screw hole in the rail of the mag and holds the body and rail together.

And here's how it looks after 1 day of work.

Things to do:
-Trigger
-Lapco Bigshot Assault barrel

Not bad I'd say.  Only a little blood drawn so far.  Stupid metal shears...

He could run remote to an air nipple right off the side of the valve.

Exactly what I did.

BTW: Trigger = success.  It lives.  It is AWESOME.  I can't sleep right now thinking about it.

Pics when I get home from work.  Linked the sear and the stock airsoft trigger with some steel wire.  Due to leverage from the mounting points of the wire, the trigger pull is longer but lighter than a stock classic mag trigger pull.  Feels similar to a Tiberius trigger pull.  Very smooth, good feel IMO.

Yes.  I know.  I'm an engineer.  Roll Eyes

But I even surprised myself on this one.  It came out clean and effective and simple.  I just need a Lapco barrel to put in the cocker to twist-lock adapter and a G36 tip to complete the look.  Maybe run the Tib suppressor for that "Special Ops douchebag" look.  But no pussy-ass heartbeat monitors on my gun.

Oh come on...If you put the Heartbeat sensor then you can use cold blooded Tongue

How long of a barrel will you need? Cause the cocker threaded assault barrels come in 10,14 and 16

Probably about 10 inches.
