Ive juggled this project around a few times in my mind and Im thinking about going with it. Ive got my Thompson M1....but Id love it have its gangster-esque counter-part, the Typewritter. For variaties sake Id like to do it with an A5.

Heres a picture for the heck of it:

That would be cool, but the drum mag isnt big enough to house anything. I could possible put a Qloader adapter on it and run a simple Qloader hose from the drum to the adapter..but there wouldnt be an easy way to push the paintballs into the breech..nor would there be an easy way to reload it.

This is interesting. I priced all the parts I would need off of Tommygunshop.com All the parts..seperatly totals $641.90 NOT including a Drum mag. I can get a full dummy gun with all real parts..basically a real gun that doesnt fire, for $550. But that comes with a Stick mag.

Alot to think about..maybe I might pass this up and try and find a PPSH kit for the PPSH Classic mag..

LOL.

The  Thompson came out at the end of WWI.  One, not Two.  A little late to see service though.  Marketed to civilians.

So the mafia didn't steal the Thompson from the Army.  If anything, it was the other way around.  This version came out before the military versions you are used to seeing.

That said, I still like the cleaner look of the military models.

Enhander,
I've had an idea for a 98c based tommy gun that is completely different then anything else out there.  It got as far as the drawing and sketching phase for me but I decided to go with my 98c m4 project instead.  If you're interested, let me know and I'll see if I can give you a break down of my idea.

Well so far I have mine that I did a LONG time ago. It was my first mod project,

I add stuff too it every now and then. Im gonna put some walnut finish on the stock and handguard to make them alot darker. If you have any ideas that would improve my exisiting one..please let me know Cheesy

Id love to get a way to remove that metal ring that is holding on the foregrip (its looped around the barrel. That way the barrel would be free floating so I could take it off if there was a break.

Steel bracket mounted from where the stock, vertical foregrip attached running under the barrel? Dont kow how heavy that foregrip you have on there is.

Awww, Crimmy thinking like an engineer.

That was my suggestion.  Somehow mount a metal bar out from the front of the 98.  Mount to this.
