T9.1 and firing rate
«
on:

Hey guys, question about rate of fire for my 9.1
If I shoot a 3 round burst (pull trigger quickly 3 times) the third shot just drops out the end of the barrel and you have to wait a second or two to be able to shoot again. I am think this has something to do with the pressure release valve built in. Can anyone verify this for me?
I am not sure if I basically shut down the release valve if it will fix it and I don't want to really do so if it would damage anything.
Thanks for the help.

Ive actually seen alot of other people on other forums talking about this... If turning the relief valve off doesnt work, you may need to call Eric and have him send some new parts.

Yeah, I have been watching the other forums. It seems that it is the guns from the same batch that I got mine that are having the issue.
I am going to call Eric when I get back home. Can't get away during the day to do it out in the field.

Well i finally found the problem today why my gun wasn't firing right.
Aparently a small shaving from where the gun was milled had found its way into the airway passage just in front of the relief valve area. Once I found this and removed it, then cleaned and oil the gun thoroughly, it now shoots like it should.
It was like this from the time I first shot the gun so the shaving was in there from the factory. And it seems as though almost all the guns made at the same time as mine have this issue.
