Mini or G4

I am holding off on the new mech. I love my 98c to much. I decided to sell my SLG and get one of these bad boys right hurr.  This isnt like "take this over that" Id rather here rants on these markers. So give me alll the info you got

What do you like? Light and compact? or more wided set up?

Ive held both but never shot them. Handeling wise, Mini suited me very well because of the fact its light, compact and you can easily run with it.

If you want something with just a bit more weight and little larger diameter in body, go G4.


When you post things like this people will say its what you prefer. But always good to give you my opinion.

As Freeman said, the Mini is nice, small and compact. It would definitely fit your frame. Ive never held any DP marker, so i cant chime in about those.

Does it have to be one of the two?  You can get a lot more bang for your buck if you go used.  You'd have access to: Vikings, Angels, Intimidators, Quests, Egos, DMs/PMs, etc.  I'm not much of an electro head, so I don't keep up on market values, but I assume $300 would get you close to a nice used Etek3, Vice or Marq as well.

Vices still go for around 450-500, but I agree 300 could get you a nice DM7-8. If it has to be one of those two than go used still. Minis can be found for 175-200 used every where.

Vices are NICE. A former tech at TRP had one and it shot BEAUTIFULLY. Super efficient too.

Id rly like one of these two. I am hoping for one of these for christmas. I have to decide wich one, I typically dont go for used Ive never held a DM, Angel, Ego, Vice, anything rly high-end. I am rly leaning towards a mini wich would come with a free halo too wich i desperatley need

DP FX are nice too (ape board standard nice).... havent heard nothing bad about them.. i'll be looking at an etek3 or FX for summer play.

Also, this past friday at a local shop.. paintball Central, brand new mini's for 235.00 and you could get Invert Too for 49.00, i was so tempted to pick one up but resent purchases held me back, but i did pick up an invert too for my SLG..  I could be wrong about this, but i thought i read somewhere you can upgrade to the Empire axe for a small fee if you have a mini.. (not sure)...
