I can has automagz?

« on: December 16, 2010, 09:57:20 PM »

So rather than posting a new thread every time I have a new toy to share, it'll be cleaner to just have one thread that I can update. Smiley  Like the backdrop?  It's one of our new jersey designs.  Believe it or not, these photos were all taken with my cell phone!

Let's hit it off with my keepers!

My Pump - CCM J2L
Bought this brand new from CCM a coupel months ago and had the feedneck ring engraved with my sons name.  Totally in love with this marker, it's absolutely phenominal.  Have a full CCM sizer set and a Stiffi Switch barrel for it too.  I don't know that I've ever owned or even shot a more finely crafted marker.  Lifetime warranty?  Yes please!

My Electro - WDP Angel A4 Fly
These came out towards the end of my undergrad studies and I drooled over their ads in APG. Always wanted one but couldn't afford one new.  Later they became really tough to find in good shape.  I saw this go up for sale with less than two cases ever cycled through it.  Hell, it doesn't have a single breech mark from the bolt even - essencially brand new.  This one's a dream come true - and a smartass.  I hit 22 BPS on the speed tester in the board setting and it asked if I had eggbeaters for fingers on the LCD.

My Mech - Keeper not yet found...check back later.
Just haven't found that mech gat that sings 'keep me' yet.  Maybe I never will, time will tell.  The Super Nova may have potential...

I just picked up this Airstar Super Nova, always loved these things - heck, it's how I got my screen name back in the day.  Anyways, gonna clean it up and shoot it a bit, maybe it'll fit into that keeper slot... This is NOT going up immediately FS.

The Revolving Door

Azodin KP

Great little shooter, but will never see play with my J2L in the mix.

BE 99 Rainmaker

Amazing condition for it's age.  Cycles perfect in all three modes (semi, 3 shot burst, FA) and has no leaks.

Im not going to lie, but angels have a very different look to them. really weird and exoctic, but it looks freaking sweet. Is the grip frame a pain? It looks like its hard to hold.

Btw. Sexy J2L........

Thanks guys Smiley

Is the grip frame a pain? It looks like its hard to hold.

No.  The Angel 90* frames (or frames based on that angle like the automag Chimera, OTB, etc..) are the most comfortable frames I've ever held when shooting semis.  In fact, the only time I prefer a 45 frame is on pumps.  Try one Smiley

Oh, this just in...

I agree, when I used your Olive mag with the chimera...it was seriously the most comfortable thing ever.
