Ok, so after MANY delays, the first few R7s are coming together.  The first 10 or 11 are going to be made first and tested to work out any unforseen bugs/problems, but since it is based on the Nelson design, hopefully they should only be minor tweaks to the manufacturing process.  I'm crossing my fingers for a delivery by then end of the year.  A 3 month wait turned into 12.  Oh well.  It should be worth it.

I would be pissed too if I had ordered a Falcon.  I won't lie, I think they way he has bumped priority to the R7 over the Falcon even though Falcon pre-orders came in first was a dick move.

And it looking more every day that this will be the ONLY run of R7s.  The machining costs are turning out to be much higher than he estimated.  He's actually losing money on each R7.  Which sucks.  But that just makes mine all the more valuable.

Cost prohibitive. We paid $300 for the preorder and he is looking at costs around $450.  Hopefully once he gets Falcons rolling he can do a second run. As far as I know the duck slides are still go.  I think he said about $300 each.
