Found this on MCB. Use a CCI pierce pin to replace the old 007 pierce pin!

Seems like someone is always looking for a 007 pierce pin.
I am sure the are getting harder to find.I compared an original to a CCI pin noting the cup and the shoulder were very close.Without modifing the 007 valve there isn't enough room for an adapter so I modified the CCI pin(always hack the cheaper and still in production part first)
The CCI pin is about 1/16" shorter from the shoulder to the cup but there are just enough extra threads on the plunger screw to still have full thread engagement with the frame.

If it should ever break off a 5/64" allen wrench fits inside the valve, you used blue locktite right ?

I've seen this too.  Good to know if you need to replace it!

Yeah, I figured that with there being 4 007's here on the team, that it would be a good thing to have handy just in case.

Crimson, do you remember where that post on MCB was about making new seals for piece pins?  It was using some sort of gasket sealer to replace the plastic ring in the piece pin.  I believe that you originally showed it to me.

I think it was about a Redux. Maybe in the Redux marker section? Might be stickied.

Excellent.  Combination of two great mods/ maintenance "how to" threads right here.
