I have invert mini witch when i dont have a tank or have a tank in it it will not shoot, the green light blinks every time i pull the trigger but it will not shoot or make the clicking noise for electric guns.

eyes ? also i was told it needs a 9.6v battery

Most all electronic markers have Eyes. Its what detects the ball in the breech to prevent chops at high rates of fire.

I'm not sure about minis but you can turn eyes off I think.
