Okay, so, I've narrowed down my picks on pistols to ither the T8.0 or the New TPX Models (I'm aware that the old models were problematic.)

I was looking for some people with first hand experience with either or ither of the Paintball Pistols so I could make a final decision.

I was looking for the following comparisons if you guys could help out:

Price
Accuracy
Range
Quality (Will it break on me after the first week or will it work threw thick and thin?)
Design/Complexity (Basically how easy it is to strip down and clean and put back together, and how many parts you have to worry about.)
Efficiency vs Quantity (Shots Per Clip/CO2 Canister)

Thanks for any and all info you guys can post on this.

True but past experiences say that I should at least give other brands a try.

Honestly....go with a T8.1. Better internals, almost 4 mags per 12 gram (thats what I got out of my new one). Ive never touch another TPX. Even though I was kinda considering it, when I got my T8.1 I realized I made the right decision.

The T8 just seem to work well. I have heard otherwise about the TPX but I have no first hand experience with the TPX other than the one game that I played with Enhanders TPX/paint blender. That may have been the worst game of my life. I could have had some good chances for eliminations but the fricking gun wouldn't shoot.

When I had my TPX I never had any major issues with it.  The only problem I had was the shoot down at high rates of fire.  The new internals fixed that problem.  I liked how the mags only hold the paint.

I'm going to be picking up a T8 when I get the chance.  Really want to give one of these a spin.

I think I'm going to get a T8 for $160 on Ebay. Seems reasonable anyways... Idk. The TPX's seem to be a more low profile design. Compact, and what not. Thats what I was looking for, plus what Running Riot said, I like how the Mags only hold the paint as well.

So which one are you getting? You say your getting the T8 but it sounds like you're talking about the TPX. lol

Very true. I do like the Tibs. I loved my T9.1, but it was just a little too bulky to use for a pistol varient in my tastes. Thats why I like the TPX, its less bulky and low profile. But I know that past issues with TPX's make them 'neh', while I know after I did a slight mod to my Tiberius, it worked like a Dream, plus we have our sponsorship with them.

I'm going to take up the idea of calling Tib and seeing if they have any left-over T8 Originals. From there, I'll work out some sort of plan.

I'm just getting into pistols but when I saw the TPX, I liked the fact that the cartrage was in the gun and not on the mag. It would be a bit of a waste of air to have it in the mag at least in my opinion from seeing the Tac8/9 series. I did like how the TPx was already set up out of the box to take add on's like lasers and lights and it's already adaption to use a remote. Other then that, it's operator essthetics.

Its actually quite a bit more than just aesthetics to the operator. For one, you wouldn't need lasers or lights in the first place (although the T8.1 comes with a bottom rail BTW) and also, both are able to be set up for remote operation. The two designs are totally different and it is a lot more compliated than just which one "looks cooler". Both have pros and cons, however I find the Tibs to me intuitive, and easier to maintain than the TPX. Tibs also seem to be built better. I throw mine around a lot and they rarely give me any issues. When they do, they are very easy to service.
