Why is it that we don't? Other than that's just not one of the perks? What is the actual reason? Trp can't afford to do it? Mm not offering it anymore due to trp? I'm just curious. Seems no reason to pre reg other than the patch really.

I'll be at this but let me add to what's been said...
TRP has always been an expensive place to play paintball. I really liked when you got 200 rounds for pre-regging last year (you didn't have to sponsored, it was a pre-reg perk regardless of who you were). In fact, I didn't know they weren't doing that anymore until I read this thread - I just forgot to pre-reg for Halo. Sounds pretty rotton to me. 200 rounds makes a big budget difference when you play pump so i was really digging it last year and it was an actual motivating force for pre-regging. I dunno, if it wasn't for Cuda and the MM crew and the quality of the MM games I'd spend my money elsewhere. You won't see me at TRP for anything other than an MM event. The 200 round pre-reg wasn't the only perk they took away.

Yeah, totally sucks they took the 200 rounds away for pre-regging. It really helped as an LPD player to get those rounds when you were on a tight budget. Think I am with Toter on this one, only time I will be at TRP is for MM events. P.S. Can't wait for the 14th to get here  |

TBH, TRP ownership has always run the field like, well, a business. They definitely recognize that they have the market cornered, and price entry/paint accordingly. With the economy the way it is, I'm not surprised to see them tighten the fist a little. With that said, I really enjoy playing there and have picked up a Silver membership to make it a bit more affordable. It's an amazing value - I highly recommend it.

Silver membership is $135 for a year... Grants you free admission, air and $55/case on Open Play days; and a savings of $25 per scenario ($15 off admission, free air, gotta pay the full $65/case unless you buy it in advance).
I got my membership last month and have played in the Open twice plus the Halo event. I'm already close to breaking even, and have 11 months left on it.
