My TM7's solenoid is acting up and won't click the first 15-20 times I pull the trigger...Just sent the below email to Kee.
Yesterday I took my TM7 out for some fun after having it packed up for about a month. First thing I did was stick a brand new battery in it the I airred it up, pulled the trigger, and nothing happend. I stick my ear upto it and notice the Solenoid is not clicking. I mess around with it a bit more and can't find anything wrong. (checked to ensure battery was charged/ trigger pulls were registering) After a few more minutes of adjustments/trigger pulls I finally got the Solenoid to click very softly and after a few more pulls all seems to work fine. Thinking the Solenoid was dirty I took it apart to clean and lube very lightly. I then put it all back together and I got the same results. No clicks for 15-20 trigger pulls, a few soft click, then all seems to work fine. For giggles I switched out batteries and again the same results. This problem is just a pain in the butt right now, but I don't want the solenoid to give out completly while in the field or accidently turn my gun off and then have to pull the trigger 15ish times to be able to fire again. I have tried everything I can think of to fix the issue. I have a first gen TM7 with a serial number of 207 which I bought from Action Village. The gun is properly lubed and holds air perfect with no leaks. Trigger is set right as I can turn the eyes on/off with no problems. I asked for help on the BT Warrior Online forums and several people with the same problem I have told me my solenoid and possibly board needs replaced. I can install everything I myself. What do I need to do to get the process of fixing my gun started?
Waiting to see what I hear back now. I'll keep you all posted.

From what I've been told BT/Kee's customer service is better than Tippmann's so I'm not worried about getting it fixed. Heck I might even get an upgraded board out of it.
Kinda off topic anyone know a good way to get paint off. I am kinda missing the old TM7 being black and I'm thinking about trying to remove the green I added to it. Thought on this? Good idea? Bad Idea?

I like the 2 tone. Im not sure if Jasco paint remover will work on a plastic shell. You may just have to paint over it.

Just heard back from Kee...looks like I have to send my gun in. I'm now hoping they don't give me any trouble over my paint job.

Called Kee as directed to by the email I got, and I got some suprising results. I talked to the guy for a few minutes about the problem and he said this seems to be a common problem and the V2 Solenoid fixes it. He asked if I wanted to send the whole gun or just the solenoid. I told him just the solenoid as I know the TM7 inside and out and can install everything myself. I then did a shameless plug about our popular maintenance video on the TM7 that my team did, and he asked what my team name was. I told him FEAR, and he replied with we've seen that video around here and you guys know your stuff, hold on a second. When he came back he said good news we have a new solenoid here we can just send to you instead of you sending in yours. If you say it's the solenoid, then your solenoid is bad. We talked a few more minutes and now my solenoid is on the way. In a few days I'll let you know how it turns out, but as of right now I am an even bigger fan of BT/Kee!!!
