Their is a bill in the California State Senate and Legislator that may have a serious effect on the paintball community. In my opinion, if this bill is allowed to pass, it can spread like a wild fire to other states.

Check this link out and voice your thoughts on this bill. It doesn't matter what form of paintball you go for. This bill will affect the sport as a hole, so please help this cause.

See? Its right down there. Just a button. Especially in a thread that you would like to be taken pretty seriously, I would think that it would be pretty sensible to use it.

Staying on topic.
I dont think that this will pass. There have been numerous posts and threads all over other forums and facebook. There are major players (ie. industry leaders) that are involved.

I only missed 2 words in the hole topic. Other then that, I hope I was able to get the point across. On the subject matter, Their are lobbists at work on this yet I feel that players nation wide should voice their opinions by whatever means possible to get the point across.

The occasional mistake here and there is acceptable, IMO.  But when there are that many errors with repeated regularity, it really is hard to take anything you say seriously.

California is the most retarded state in the union. If this does pas it will not pass any where else. They have the 1996 assault weapons ban as state law and they have an approved list of firarms that are allowed in there state. On top of that every gun has to have a 10 lb trigger pull, loaded chamber indicator and a maximum magazine compacity of 10 rounds. There is probably a few dozen more gun laws that the rest of the states do not. If anything states are becoming more and more free when it comes to gun rights.

My advice to California paintballers that want to use a milsim style gun is move.

Their are those that can't afford to move out of state. I do agree that California is one of the most retarded states if now the weirdest. The issue they face is motivating players in that state to voice their opinions on the matter. This bill is the end result of the actions of an irresponsible child with an airsoft gun.  I'm not bashing the airsoft guys but its something that effects paintballers as well. Video campains on this are already underway on youtube.

Here are some of those links:
