My Fiburs are fantastic. Granted, they don't touch the paint (Freak inserts), but still...

I will never touch another Stiffi Barrel again. Or any other Carbon Fiber barrel for that matter. Everyone Ive shot has had sub-par performance, even with matching the paint. They're aren't worth the money in my opinion.

The one I have was part of the Special Ops Blackcell C-series. I figured it was worth a try. Plus they are American made and I didn't want a cheap aluminum one from China. I try to buy American stuff were I can in the name of patriotisim in the economic sence. My Stiffie was able to reach out good for the distences at my field so it was good for that one. Maybe you just had a bad experience with it. Who know, maybe you might get one that works for you and you'll love it. You never know.

I have always wanted a deadly winds barrel but honestly I have never found a barrel that shoots better than a $30 CP barrel so I cant justify the price.

Ive shot the C-Series Sifft, Normal Stiffi, Deadly Wind, and the Sly. All of them except for the DW barrel performed like crap. That was through extensive testing.
I take that back, the DeadlyWind was the only one that performed amazing.

probably because, Like Riddler pointed out, the Deadly Wind barrel uses freak inserts so the actual carbon fiber portion does very little in terms of affecting the flight path of the ball.

Hence the bore kits. I'm looking into one for the Stiffi so I can run field tests at extreme. Nothing says results then an actual game. Range work is one thing but when you get it out on the field, it better back up the range data. lol
