I like the concept, as it is a unique mask.

However even with the testing (and I saw the one where they shot it 5 times at point blank range with no damage) I would still not be comfortable enough to wear the mask unless it was officially approved.

Secondly, vision would be hindered for me at least.  I like being have to have 160 degrees of vision without having to turn my head.

Still, a very cool concept!

Those look sick. But like shorts I think it would be extremely uncomfortable and hard to breath out of. And the fact that you vision is hindered is a deal breaker.

Definitely!

What I wouln't mind seeing is them building a version of this off an approved mask.

Something that I have thought of when I have seen the masks is if they were able to mold the goggle portion of the mask into the actual mask so that you can still have the full mask as you see, but the portion around the eyes would allow you to see out of the original 160 degree of vision.  I don't know if it is possible to mold the lens like that but it is a thought.

You could do the original face structure but have the lens curved inward into the mask.

It's theoretically possible to do. You also need to look into what materials are used in the construction. I'd talk to someone who makes them for more information.
