As some of you may know, I am a die hard fan of the Metal Gear Solid series. This is a mod project I'm considering considering my ACR project is on hold.

This kit idea works beautifully on both the classic X7 and the Phenom. The main things needed are the shroud and the sights. The shroud should be easy enough to find from Tippmann or a custom job from Engler I believe.

The sights you can find on evike or other airsoft shops that sell stuff for the 1913 Picitiny/ Weaver RIS system

Rear sight: http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?products_id=29309

For anyone looking for a unique M4 style, this should be fun. Happy building Smiley

MW2:

MGS4:

Both have their appeal. This idea is fast and cheap for me. Besides, who dosen't want a their favorite gun from classic FPS games lol

Actually their is a suttle difference in the top of both. The MW2 version has a top add on that makes it a continueis rail wile the MGS4 verion dose not. That's the only distinguishing difference in them. I will say that the shroud (forearm) may be the harder part to do. Otherwise this mod idea is pretty stright foward. I think it looks better then the Tippmann M4 stuff.

$84 + sights and its done. Now if you could just get it to be mag fed running off a 12 gram to make it as sleek as a real M4.

Hudd, you got some good thoughts for this one. Yet making it able to fit a marker like the X7 is a bit difficult though doable. As for the mag fed idea, I know that something like that is deffinatley possible down the road Smiley
