After talking with the NATO Commander last night, I decided that I am going to attempt to build us a Heavy AT for Fulda Smiley

I was hoping for some help from everyone on here with the design and building of one.

I'm thinking of basing it off of my AT4 by extending the front tube with PVC, and then changing out the 150 psi relief valve for something around 300 psi to fill the chamber up more, thus giving it some more distance.  If anyone has any suggestions on how to just build a homemade launcher I will go that route so that the AT 4 can still be used as a LAW.

As for the mounting.  I'm thinking of picking up a set of 8 inch wheels from the local hardware store that come with a mounting bracket, and mounting them to a lazy susan from home depot so that the launcher will be on a swivel for the user.  I would also like to mount a plastic plate of some sort on the front it so whoever is using it has protection from being hit, but I will have to look into how to do that.  If anyone has any ideas please feel free to chime im here.  I am thinking something like the six pounder in terms of protection of the user.

Advice, help would be amazing Smiley

You'd have to make it deploy-able some how, if you guys plan on carrying it with you. Something that you can drop and assemble in a hurry.

What are the rules for Heavy AT vs shoulder-fired AT?  I skimmed that in the Fulda thread.  If you guys want and if it is acceptable, you can borrow my Havoc Thumper if it meets the length requirements for an AT vs bunker buster.

The problem I see with modifying your AT4 is that it is muzzle loaded.  Having someone go out around the front after every shot is less than ideal.  Maybe you could modify my Havoc for Heavy AT since it has the breach load mod?  Or do their rules prevent that?

JJ, I want to put the thing on wheels, so we can just move the thing wherever need be to make it easier to maneuver.

Jackson, breach loaded is allowed.  Heavy AT must be fired from a grounded position either on a turret type setup or a deploy-able bipod/tripod set up.  It must be at least 41 inches long I believe, and there is a weight requirement of at least 50 pounds for the whole setup.  Though from what I was told the length requirement is what they look for, the weight is never really checked.

Cool.  Like I said, just let me know if you want to use the Havoc.
