Feeling lucky punk?

« on: November 06, 2011, 12:10:15 AM »

Wanted to pick up something different and this is what I got.  Now I need an air tank...

Thinking about maybe picking up a powerfeed minimag body and a brass barrel eventually.

After breaking it down and messing with it, I'm bummed I didn't get into these sooner.

Any recommendations on tanks?

What kind of tanks you have now?

I still want to buy another classic mag and put it in the M1 carbine stock I have. A M1 Carbine Automag would be amazing. But alas, Im not smart enough to conceive a trigger system for it

I only have co2 tanks.

Check mcb for classic mags, the BST forum is flooded with them right now.

I would reccomend looking for 50/45 used ninja tank or a 68/45 guerilla. whichever suits you.

Best. guns. ever.

You won't be disappointed!  I actually really like the standard feeds like that, just swap out the grip frame with a benchmark and you're set!

As for tanks, mags need HP, so don't get a LP tank.  Hell, you could even pick up a $40 nib 48ci steelie - it'd work great on that thing and you'd get about 500 shots/fill. Any brand will be fine for that setup as long as it's not an LP tank.

I'm partial to Crossfire tanks.  My mags do nicely on my 68/45 Crossfire.

Glad I talked you into getting a mag?  Their simplicity and build quality are stunning.  Just wait until you get out on the field with it.
