Chess
Ok, for teams to practice and get a good handle on their teams. To learn how to make good judgement calls and strategies.
-Split your team into two groups. -Start at two ends of field whichever you choose to designate. -Both teams will be in contact with eachother, but do not tell eachother where they will be going, only tell them that you have finished your move. Then the other team will move. -When you are in range you may move again OR fire. Not both. (If you choose to move, that is it, then the other team takes a turn. If you fire, then you can keep on firing while they move.) -Now if a team fires, and it is your turn, you have two turns, a defensive technique and an offensive technique. You do not have to use a defensive technique, but you may. You may fire while you move but that makes both turns in one. -The game goes on till it is a stalemate, or a team cannot think of an action that would win them the game. -The leader of the team has only 3-5 minutes(chosen and agreed upon by the team leaders) to think of an action and send it out. (That 3-5 minutes starts after a call from the other team that their move is over.) -You must call over the radio that your team has completed their move. -Players may not move while out of turn, and only move where their leader specifies. - Only the team leader may call the move and where to. ( Be specific : "15 yards to your 2 o'clock behind that big rock", or just say 15 yards to your NE.) -Every player must stop and be in position before you call the other team that you have completed your turn.
This game is to help team leadership to bond, work together as a team and listen to one another. Should be fun lol. I tried to make sense of it and maybe it might make sense to you all. Questions, problems, comments? Please let me know lol.
