3 Piece and a Biscuit!

WWW
« on: August 12, 2008, 03:00:51 PM »

THE STORY:
This paintball event is themed to the popular AVP - Alien vs. Predator movies. After a great deal of research, the Mission Masters Team designed an all-new Sci-Fi Thriller campaign that fits the "AVP" theme perfectly and delivers all the style you've come to expect from Mission Masters...

The year is 2008 and satellite technology has enabled humans to gaze not only into the furthest reaches of space, but allows a complete perspective of Earth. Nothing gets into or out of Earth's atmosphere without several satellites catching a glimpse.

Antarctica, still a frozen tundra of uninhabitable land, is being watched by Weyland Industries' latest satellite, Earthwatch. In early September 2008, Earthwatch caught photographs of a heat bloom two miles beneath the ice crust. Thanks to 3D modeling and rendering technologies already onboard Earthwatch, the satellite has beamed back a fully rendered virtual model of the structure.

Unbeknownst to N.A.S.A. and the U.S. military, Earthwatch is equipped with a space-reaching "eye" that can see millions of stars and thousands of known galaxies throughout its orbital path.

Recently, Earthwatch has been sending reports to its land-based station on Earth. The images are disturbing, as they depict two distinct types of alien crafts coming from different points in space. Suddenly, Earthwatch's cameras - both of them - go offline and further communication with the satellite fails. Weyland's scientists scramble to analyze the last transmissions and believe it has something to do with the structure buried two miles beneath the frozen surface of Antarctica!

On September 6, 2008, a specialized team of scientists arrive on location, in Antarctica, to explore the mysterious area...

AVP: Total Carnage... It's anyone's game!

THE TEAMS:

TEAM YELLOW
THE HUMANS are a team of adventurous scientists organized by a billionaire to explore a mysterious heat source in the Antarctic. The humans are caught in the middle of a battle between Aliens and Predators and try to fight off Predators while preventing Alien propagation.

TEAM BLUE
THE ALIENS are an unintelligent extraterrestrial species, parasitic and predatory by nature. They are bent on propagation of their own species and the destruction of all other life forms that could pose a threat.

TEAM RED
THE PREDATORS are an Extraterrestrial species of tribal warriors known for trophy hunting and stalking other dangerous species for sport. Their prey includes humans and aliens.

I look forward to seeing you guys there!  I know we should have a so-so showing, a lot of guys are maybes due to Castle being the same month btu I expect at least 7-8 of us.  Not a lot of firepower though - I know 3 of us will be pumpin' it.

I am hoping we can get a much bigger group than we did at Halo somewhere around 10 and I would be happy.

If I can find a decently priced Sheridan I will be going pump for this event too!

Ok, just checking if we were. I know there was some talk about it. I don't think I would have the money to do both anyways.

I just want to play some paintball I don't care where we go.

If we run either Alien or Predator I am gonna rock my new Ego and Mini Space Guns in honor of the ETs that we are. If we end up human then I will rock the Tm7.

Looks like they are randomizing the teams.  BoB wants humans so if we pull pred and you pull humans we can swap if you want Wink  We're trying to get a lot of pump and pistol players on teh same side..make it that much more challenging Grin
