That's why I carry two rolls of Teflon tape in my tool box with me.  I can tech just about any marker with my simple tool box.  Cool

Locktight wouldn't have helped me then, I had no problem with the screw loosening...

you can use loctite in place on plumbers tape. i think it works a little better and is easier to apply.

But you should wait 24 hours for it to cure before using.  Teflon tape is an immediate fix.  And if applied correctly, it's just as easy.  There is a correct and incorrect way of putting on Teflon tape.

I usually just wait about 30 seconds and it's never leaked. I just hate the way Teflon looks and it usually stops the fittings from screwing all the way in. Loctiye dosent restrict the fitting from screwing all the way in.

Just make sure all the threads are covered with locktite or it will leak...take it from me...lol!
